STUB ACME THREAD GAUGES
STUB ACME Threads are similar to ACME threads except that the thread depth/ height is less than ACME. These are used for thin walled applications, where coarse pitch is needed like tubes used in Oil fields equipments, where standard ACME threads can not be used due to thin wall.

NPT THREAD GAUGES
NPT THREADS are used in general purpose application of pipe assembly, where a pressure tight joint of pipes is made, by making the pipes wrench tight using a sealing compound.
